Inspectron is delighted to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with UNO SEISAKUSHO CO. LTD. of Tokyo, Japan. Under the terms of the agreement, Inspectron and UNO will jointly market and further develop complex tracking solutions used in the manufacture of Electronic Passports.

Inspectron and UNO are already co-operating on the supply of such solutions to two major countries. UNO is one of only two manufacturers of the special machines used in passport production, and has existing installations in many countries.

Inspectron Chairman Allan Harle said: “Most countries will need to upgrade their passport manufacturing to accommodate the new biometric passports soon to be introduced. The solutions required are a natural extension of Inspectron's proven Integrity technology. We have established an excellent relationship with UNO for the first pioneer installations, and this has led to a mutual wish to continue with other countries as they come on stream.”
